Instructions for Use of OCIS On Line Dockets
To retrieve case information via this system, you must know the case number of the case you wish to view. The case number must be entered in the format used by the court in which the case is/was pending. Each court/docket is listed below, with case types and a sample case number from each court.
Supreme Court and Court of Civil Appeals
Case numbers in the civil appellate courts should be entered as follows:
Docket - Case Type - Case Number
AP - SD - 93123
The docket field is only required when the last case you retrieved was not on the appellate docket. The Case Type field is never required (it is not a part of the official case number), but may be given. If you include the docket type, you must include the case type or enter two dashes between docket and case number.

For example, to switch to case 89141, you can enter "AP--89141" or just "89141" if the case is the first one you retrieved, or the last case you retrieved was an appellate case.

Court of Criminal Appeals
Case numbers in the Court of Criminal Appeals should be entered as follows:
Docket - Case Type - Year - Case Number
AP - PC - 1999 - 15
The docket field is only required when the last case you retrieved was not on the appellate docket. The Case Type field is optional, but should be entered to prevent retrieval of duplicate information.

For example, to switch to case M-1998-6, you can enter "AP-M-1998-6" or just "M-1998-6" if the case is the first one you retrieved, or the last case you retrieved was an appellate case. If you include the docket type, you must include the case type or enter two dashes between docket and year.

The docket field is only required when the last case you retrieved was not on the appellate docket. The Case Type field is optional, but should be entered to prevent retrieval of duplicate information.

For example, to switch to case EQ-1998-6, you can enter "AP-EQ-1998-6" or just "EQ-1998-6" if the case is the first one you retrieved, or the last case you retrieved was an appellate case. If you include the docket type, you must include the case type or enter two dashes between docket and year.

TU - TR - 1999 - 4
The county field is required on the first search that is completed or if subsequent case searches originate from a county other than the original search. Case Type field is optional, but should be entered to prevent retrieval of duplicate information.

For example, to switch to case TR-1999-4 in Tulsa County, you can enter "TU-TR-1999-4" or just "TR-1999-4" if the last case you retrieved was a Tulsa county case. If you include the docket type, you must include the case type or enter two dashes between docket and year.
