APPROPRIATION-DEPENDENT YOUTH AND ORPHANS
CHAPTER 150

An Act appropriating the sum of thirteen thousand seven hun-
dred fifty dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1964,
and the sum of thirteen thousand seven hundred fifty dol-
lars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, for the pur-
pose of carrying into effect the provisions of §§ 1541, 1542,
and 1543, Title 70, Oklahoma Statutes 1961, relating to the
care, training, and education of the dependent youth and
orphans of the state; making the appropriation fiscal; and
declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma:
Section 1. Appropriations
There is hereby appropriated out of any monies in the State Treasury to
the credit of the General Revenue Fund, not otherwise appropriated, the
sum of Thirteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($13,750.00) for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 1964, and the sum of Thirteen Thousand
Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($13,750.00) for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1965, for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of
§§ 1541, 1542, and 1543, Title 70, Oklahoma Statutes 1961, relating to
the care, training, and education of the dependent youth and orphans
of the state who have attained the equivalent of a common school edu-

cational standing, and who, by reason of being poor, dependent, neglected,
or orphaned, may be unable to be cared for, trained or educated otherwise.
Section 2. Appropriations fiscal
The appropriations made by this Act are fiscal and shall be available
for encumbrance purposes to June 30 of the fiscal year for which they are
made. Whenever an unencumbered balance exists ninety (90) days after
the close of said fiscal year, such balance shall lapse and be transferred
to the General Revenue Fund of the then current fiscal year.
