HOUSE BILL NO. 897.
AN ACT providing a minimum annual salary of forty-eight hundred ($4,800.00) dollars for the County Judge
in counties in which there is an institution of the State of Oklahoma for the care of orphan, neglected,
or dependent children; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
Section 1. County Judge-Counties Having an Institution for Dependent
and Neglected Children-Salary. In all counties in the State of Oklahoma in
which there is an institution of the State of Oklahoma for orphan, neglected,
or dependent children, the annual salary of the County Judge shall be not
less than Forty-eight Hundred ($4,800.00) Dollars per annum, payable monthly.
Passed the House of Representatives Over Governor's Veto April 15, 1953.
Passed the Senate Over Governor's Veto April 15, 1953. Emergency.
