HOUSE BILL NO. 548.
AN ACT appropriating the sum of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred ($12,500.00) Dollars for the Fiscal Year
ending June 30, 1954, and the sum of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred ($12,500.00) Dollars for the
Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1955, for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of Title 70,
Sections 1541, 1542, 1543, 0. S. 1951, relating to the care, training and education of the depcndent
youth and orphans of the State; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
Section 1. Appropriation-Dependent Youth and Orphans-Care, Training
and Education. There is hereby appropriated out of any monies in the State
Treasury to the credit of the General Revenue Fund, not otherwise appropriated,
the sum of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred ($12,500.00) Dollars for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1954, and the sum of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred
($12,500.00) Dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1955, for the purpose
of carrying into effect the provisions of Title 70, Sections 1541, 1542 and 1543,
0. S. 1951, relating to the care, training, and education of the dependent youth
and orphans of the State who have attained the equivalent of a common school
educational standing, and who, by reason of being poor, dependent, neglected
or orphaned, may be unable to be cared for, trained or educated otherwise.
