Article 5. Marketing
§5-79. Definitions.
For the purposes of this subarticle, the following terms shall be construed respectively to mean:
"Person"--Any individual, partnership, firm, company, corporation, and group or association of two or more individuals having a joint or common interest or enterprise.
"Place"--Any vessel, car or other vehicle, building, dock, railroad platform, orchard, field or other premises where agricultural products are grown, kept or handled.
"Opened and Closed Package"--A barrel, box, basket, sack, carrier, or crate, of which all of the contents cannot readily be seen or inspected when such package is prepared for market.
"Utility or Combination"--Products packaged which may be any combination of U.S. Standard grades and/or grades established by this subarticle.
"Ungraded"--Products packaged which may be any combination of the U.S. Standard Grades and/or the grades established by this subarticle and in addition may include field run and all other grades with only soft and decayed fruit out.
"Ripes"--Products which are too ripe or soft, due to ripeness only, to ship, but which are satisfactory for short hauls and immediate consumption.
"Culls"--Products which on account of quality and condition do not come within any of the above classifications or grades.
