Article II. The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education
§3207.1. Legislative Intent.
It is the intent of the Legislature that credits earned by students in any institution of higher education within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education be fully accepted at any other institution of higher education within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education and that the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education assume leadership in working with institutional faculty and administrators to ensure that students move smoothly from one level of education to another. Objectives should include development of transfer policies and guides, degree sheets, course equivalencies, and common course numbering. By January 1, 1996, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall submit, to the Chair of the Education Committee of the Oklahoma Senate and to the Chair of the Education Committee of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, a report on the progress made toward the identified objectives.
